Why Zion? Why Utah? Why Now? Why with Me?

As both a seeker and a wellness professional, I have thoughtfully designed this retreat to balance adventure, movement, rest, reflection, and meaningful connection with yourself, with nature, and with a supportive community.

I first visited Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks during a season of profound loss and unexpected freedom. Traveling alone, I created space for my own personal retreat. In the vastness of the canyons, I experienced a deep sense of awe, abundance, and possibility. Looking down into Zion's breathtaking landscape, I felt a clear calling: one day I would return and share this experience with others.

That feeling never left me.

This retreat is the realization of that vision. It is an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life, immerse yourself in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that are often overlooked in the busyness of everyday life.

For more than 20 years, I have been creating wellness experiences through retreats, classes, workshops, and health education. As a board-certified health and wellness coach and yoga teacher, I believe that each person is the expert of their own well-being. Sometimes what we need most is the space, support, and community to reconnect with our authentic selves.

I would be honored to share this experience with you.

Immersive Wellness Adventure in
Utah's Iconic National Parks

Experience a thoughtfully curated week of hiking, yoga, connection, exploration, and renewal in the breathtaking landscapes of Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks.

Transition from Winter to Spring

Held at the end of April, this retreat offers something to look forward to during the long winter months and a refreshing reset into spring's season of growth, possibility, and renewal. Even more magical, Zion comes alive this time of year with an abundance of wildflowers, often reaching peak bloom during our stay.

Our Mornings

Each morning, we'll wake to the majestic beauty of Zion National Park's towering sandstone cliffs and brilliant blue skies. After coffee, tea, and breakfast, we'll gather for yoga and meditation before heading out to explore. Together, we'll hike iconic trails, wander breathtaking canyons, breathe fresh desert air, share laughter, encourage one another, and soak in the warmth of the spring sun.

Our Hiking Adventures

Our hikes will take us through some of the most spectacular landscapes in the American Southwest. We'll explore Zion's iconic trails at a supportive, unhurried pace with plenty of opportunities for photographs, water breaks, snacks, and moments of awe.

While some hikes include elevation gain and can be physically challenging, previous hiking experience is not required. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended, and we'll move through each adventure together as a community.

One day, we'll embrace our playful side with an excursion to Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, where we'll ride ATVs and go sand sledding. It's an experience guaranteed to bring out your inner child and create memories you'll never forget.

Our Afternoons

By lunchtime, our guided adventures will be complete, leaving the afternoon entirely yours. Relax by the pool, take a nap, read a book, schedule a spa treatment, explore Springdale's shops and galleries, visit a local winery, or continue adventuring in the canyon on your own or with new friends.

Our Dark Sky Evenings

As the sun sets, a different kind of magic begins.

Zion National Park is internationally recognized as a Dark Sky Park, offering extraordinary opportunities for stargazing. With minimal light pollution and vast desert skies, each evening provides a chance to witness the wonder of the night sky.

Our retreat falls during the moon's waning phase. As the moon grows smaller and the darkness deepens, we are invited to reflect, release what no longer serves us, and create space for what we hope to bring into our lives. If you're drawn to the beauty, mystery, and spirituality of the night sky, this is an unforgettable place to experience it.

Traveling Through Las Vegas

Las Vegas is the nearest major airport and approximately three hours from our retreat home in Springdale. Many participants choose to extend their adventure with a day or two in Las Vegas or by exploring nearby destinations such as Valley of Fire State Park before or after retreat.

Whether you make retreat your entire vacation or part of a larger adventure, your journey can be uniquely your own.

If you've dreamed of experiencing two of America's most breathtaking national parks, this retreat offers the opportunity to call Zion home for a week while also spending an inspiring day exploring Bryce Canyon National Park.

You get the gift of calling Zion your home for a week.

I would be honored to share this experience with you.

May you be at ease,

Dawn
